PACKED UP

I'm almost ready to go, my case is packed with bright jumpers to layer with shirts, my new tie dye jeans, super comfy and warm American Apparel disco pants, lots of warm hats, some basic pieces to mix it up and my new buckle up heels for looking a little bit smarter at the tradeshows and perfect for nights out. I love the little snakeskin bag, holds just enough for an evening and was only £1.90 in the Zara sale, a serious bargain.

I've crammed my vintage, slightly love worn, backpack with my moleskin notepad (an essential on any trip), the latest drop from Stack magazine, hand cream to fight chapped cold hands, my Wallpaper guide, a perfect gift from my friend Rachael and February Vogue. A camera nerd with a resolution to take more photos in 2012 i've also packed my Nikon D60, my Mini Diana and my old film Canon which never lets me down and is so much lighter to carry around than my digital SLR, it cost £2 in a charity shop and survived all of the summer's festivals.

And with that I bid you goodbye until I return...or find a Mac Store in Berlin.

BERLINBYTES

The first travel side-project from hannabytes as I take a trip to Berlin, the trip coincides with Berlin Fashion Week and is sure to be a fantastic, and frostbitten, experience. As usual, a last minute rush to met uni deadlines has left me feeling a little under prepared for the trip, but armed with my Wallpaper guide to Berlin and printouts from Stylesight's Style Traveller I hope to explore everything from photography exhibitions to cuisine, art squats to high end stores and of course a little of Berlin's famous nightlife. As for now, I really should start packing, so here a few images that caught my eye.
